Rating Your Coaching Goals
What goal rating actually means
Choosing a goal tells your coach what you want to work on. Rating it tells both of you where you are starting from and where you are genuinely trying to get to. That gap between your current level and your target is the territory your coaching works across.
How it works
For each goal you select, whether chosen from the full list or suggested by MyPulse, you will set two ratings. The first reflects your current level, an honest assessment of how you show up in that area today. The second is your target, the level you are working towards by the end of the programme.
If your goals came from MyPulse, your suggested starting ratings will already be informed by your assessment results. You can adjust these if they do not feel accurate.

One important thing to know
Your starting rating cannot be the maximum score of 10. If you genuinely feel you have already mastered a goal, that is a signal to choose a different one. Coaching works best where there is real room to grow.
Submitting your ratings
Once all your goals are rated, submit them to complete the process. This is what prepares you and your coach for a focused, purposeful first session.
Your final rating
At the end of your coaching journey, you will be asked to rate your goals one more time. This is your opportunity to look back at where you started and reflect honestly on how far you have come. It is not a test or an evaluation. It is a moment of recognition for the work you have put in.
