Completing Your MyPulse Assessment
- What is MyPulse and why should I complete it?
MyPulse Diagnose is a quick self-assessment tool designed to:
- Help you recognise your strengths
- Highlight areas for improvement
- Identify growth opportunities that can enhance your performance
Completing it before your first coaching session gives both you and your coach valuable insight to support your development.
- When should I complete MyPulse?
We recommend completing the MyPulse assessment before your first coaching session. This ensures you and your coach can hit the ground running with a clear understanding of your current position and potential focus areas.
- What does the assessment involve?
The MyPulse assessment is structured into three key sections:
- Self
- People
- Business
It only takes a few minutes to complete. Just a heads-up: there are mandatory questions that need to be answered in order to finish the assessment and unlock your personalised report.
- Is MyPulse a psychometric test?
No, MyPulse is not a psychometric tool. It focuses on behaviours rather than personality traits or cognitive abilities.
- What happens after I complete the assessment?
Once completed, you’ll receive your MyPulse Diagnose Report.
This report is:
- Automatically shared only with your coach
- Designed to give insight into your behavioural patterns
- Not visible to your line manager or anyone else
- How does MyPulse support my goal setting?
If your coaching programme includes goal setting:
- After reviewing your MyPulse report, you'll move on to selecting your coaching goals.
- Based on your assessment results, two suggested goals will appear to help guide and accelerate your growth.
These suggested goals are not included in the report shared with your coach, so be sure to take note of them when they appear.
