Line Manager Feedback in Your Coaching Journey

  1. What role does my line manager play in my coaching journey?

Your line manager is an important partner in your development. Their involvement ensures that your coaching goals align with your broader role, responsibilities, and performance expectations. They provide feedback that supports your growth and helps track your progress over time.

  1. When is my line manager notified about my coaching programme?

As soon as you register for the coaching programme, your line manager will receive an email notification to let them know you've enrolled. This keeps them informed from the very beginning.

  1. What happens after I set and lock my goals?

Once your goals are completed and locked in the platform, your line manager will receive another email update, confirming that your development goals have been finalised. This gives them visibility into the direction you’ve chosen for your growth.

  1. How does my line manager provide feedback and ratings?

Your line manager will be invited to:

  • Rate your goals and
  • Provide feedback on your effectiveness in each area.

This happens twice:

  • At the start of your coaching journey (initial goal rating)
  • At the end of the programme (final goal rating)

  1. Will I be able to see their feedback?

Yes, absolutely. Their feedback and ratings may appear on your dashboard, so you can review their input and use it as part of your development plan.

  1. Why is line manager feedback valuable?

Their feedback helps:

  • Keep your development aligned with team and company objectives
  • Provide insight into your progress from a manager’s perspective
  • Create informal checkpoints for ongoing conversations about your growth

It's a great way to keep everyone on the same page and ensure your coaching experience is well supported.
